Demand for Divorce Advice

March 2nd 2009 by admin in Relationships and Family Comments Off

The number of divorce cases filed each year can go stagnant or increase but least likely to decrease. And one way of studying this demand is through the internet. The internet offers divorce advices, divorce experts, divorce related legal counsels and more. Interestingly, when you type the word divorce in a search engine, majority of the hits are divorce sites catering to women. Only a few sites offer divorce advice or assistance to men.

The reason behind more internet sites catering to women seeking divorce guidance is the intrinsic attitude of females to feel more sensitive and weak than men when encountering problems. Women are also more verbal and open about dealing with matters such as divorce than men. That is why a lot of sites customize their services and features according the needs of a woman dealing with divorce. Internet sites that cater to men on the other hand, have simpler contents and services as compared to those catering to women.

But on both sides, men and women primarily seek for guidance on the legal aspects of the divorce. Women are more concerned on the child support issues while men are focused on the financial matters such as properties, bank accounts, credit cards, safe box and all the money involved in the marriage.
